About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Landscaping Teacher to join our Food Fibre and Animal Industries team. In this role, you will deliver engaging and industry-relevant education that supports students in achieving their learning and career goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver training and assessment aligned with VET and curriculum requirements
  • Support student engagement, attendance and outcomes
  • Maintain teaching and compliance documentation
  • Participate in industry consultation and curriculum development
  • Provide pastoral and academic support to students
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of teaching practices and resources
  • Mentor and support entry-level teachers (L2 and L3 responsibilities)


Skills and Experience Required

  • Relevant vocational qualifications and current industry skills in landscaping
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
  • VET teaching experience, preferably in landscaping or related fields
  • Understanding of ASQA/VET compliance requirements
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and ICT skills
  • Ability to design inclusive curriculum and adapt to diverse learner needs


Additional Requirements

Successful candidate will be required to provide:

  • A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • A National Police Check
